Additionally the site manager is going to be responsiblefor all data entry of Meals that have been served at our congregant meal sites. The data will be entered into the Client Tracking System provided by the Department of Aging.
- Customer Service Oriented Experience working with the elderly or in social service organizations. Must be able to maintain records, work easily with a variety of people, and organize site activities. Must be able to work with volunteers. Ability to read, write and speak Basic English. Basic math and record keeping skills. Prior experience with Client Tracking System (CTS) - Department of Aging software is a plus Working knowledge of computers with Alpha numeric and 10-key with a 95% accuracy or better Ability to work with minimal supervision Food handlers Permit required (training available to acquire certification) Must be a reliable, mature adult and have the ability to relate well to older people. Ability to handle emergency situations effectively. Able to lift 25lb without assistance Experience with basic data entry is preferred Ability to speak Russian, Spanish or Farsi is a plus Culturally sensitive and able to work with a multicultural client/customer population Ability to work in a non-judgmental manner and foster positive growth/outcomes Able to work as part of a team and maintain professional boundaries. Must pass a criminal background check (Live Scan fingerprinting) prior to beginning employment
Able to organize and manage a senior nutrition site Responsible for data entry / input for all meals and intake services provided at the Westside congregant meals sites Punctual and dependable attendance Handle food in accordance with sanitary procedures and standard Serve food according to HACCP guidelines to assure safety. Ensures meal counts are recorded at the point of services. Coordinate, schedule and supervise duties of volunteers. Maintain records; attend staff meetings and training sessions as required. Monitor donation box making sure that privacy is maintained for participants Records daily events, waste, participation data & variances. Completes daily procedure checklist (cleaning, timeline, logs etc.) Washes, sanitizes and cleans kitchen area surfaces and serving area. Maintains, cleans and sanitizes nonfood contact surfaces Meet annual attendance goals. Maintain food wastage < 3%. Accurately take and record food and equipment temperatures Plan and implement one themed event each month associated with the holiday menu. Perform outreach activities. Comply with all program guidelines, policies and procedures. Maintain certification ford food handler certificate. Other duties as assigned
