- (Los Angeles) Develop & lead key strategic & planning initiatives for a range of clients, including technology & food & beverage accounts.
Oversee & conduct core areas of planning, including research & insights, business strategy, media & connections thinking, analytics, cultural & socio-economic trends, & digital & social media strategies.
Synthesize consumer insights & lead strategy development.
Conduct studies to determine the effectiveness of a campaign for the target group.
Identify areas in which a campaign can be enhanced & make recommendations to creative & account executives.
Offer insights into the new media landscape of digital, mobile & social platforms.
Create marketing strategies for potential clients & lead new business pitches.
Participate in external speaking engagements & strategy panels.
Req's: Bachelor's degree in Marketing or an Arts & Humanities discipline (such as History, Philosophy or English) & 3 yrs of exp in the position offered or as Head of Planning w/ an advertising agency.
All req'd exp must have included managing a staff of planners & analysts; overseeing brand strategy, social content strategy & digital platform strategy for clients, including both technology & food & beverage accounts; developing & leading new business pitches for both digital & traditional media accounts; & performing segmentation analysis using MRI.
