Working collaboratively with the Human Resources Manager and Director of HR Operations at an enterprise level, the HR Generalist will be all necessary support to his or her respective Service Line Managers and/or Staff in regards to standards and all policies and procedures such as compensation, performance evaluations, departmental programs and initiatives. The HR Generalist will participate in various surveys to ensure compliance with the various agencies such as The Joint Commission, DHS, EPA, etc. Additionally, he or she may provide guidance in union negotiations, employee partnership survey, and will instruct an array of leadership trainings.
Minimum Education: HS Required. Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
Minimum Experience/Knowledge: 3 years’ experience in Human resources experience required. Proficient verbal and written communication skills. Capable of communicating with all levels of employee-administrative to staff. Proficient in MS Office.
Required License/Certification: PHR and/or PHR-CA certificate in HR preferred.
Fire and Safety Certification. If employee does not have card upon hire one must be obtained within 30 days of hire and maintained by renewal before expiration date.
