Analyzes and interprets information from loss histories provided Participates with Producer, Unit Manager and other Associates in the presentation of insurance proposal Keeps informed on current developments of federal and state safety laws Observes all applicable rules of personal safety when traveling for the Company Accumulates required continuing educational credits to maintain current certifications
Has a professional designation in safety or related field such as, CHMM, CSP, ARM, CPCU, CIH, CPE, ALCM, CFPS, CHMM, CRM, PE or other designation with continuing education recognized. Working knowledge of commercial property/casualty coverages, services and programs Extensive experience in marketing and servicing the Loss Control needs of commercial accounts gained from educational background and/or 5 or more years of field experience Demonstrates advanced analytical and problem solving skills Personal presence to interface with top management of other businesses, representing Lockton in the highest professional manner Demonstrates strong presentation skills including preparation and execution Consistent proven ability to organize and manage time in order to meet time sensitive deadlines Working knowledge of Microsoft products (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) or similar software applications Aptitude for mathematical calculations including multiplication, division and percentages Excellent interpersonal communication skills and ability to interact with Associates at all levels of responsibility, building strong internal and external client relationships Advanced consultation and presentation skills Ability to complete quantitative and qualitative evaluations on complex exposures and business issues Expert knowledge of applicable Loss Control standards and codes. Minimum Education Level Required: Bachelor’s degree required. Environmental and Occupational Health, Occupational Safety, or related field preferred.
