The Environmental Services Technician is responsible for cleaning and maintaining the medical center and its outlying buildings in order to provide a clean, sanitary and attractive environment for patients, visitors and employees. The technician must work collaboratively with the Hospitality Center and Patient Care Center.
All External hires must successfully pass background check, drug screen, and pre-employment physical.

Education Certifications/Licensure Experience Physical Abilities Educational requirements and/or preferences (Licensure, Registration, Certification, Experience, Other):
Minimum of two (2) years cleaning related experience – hospital or hotel preferred. Must effectively communicate in English and read/write basic English.
Physical Requirements (physical abilities essential to perform the job):
Must be able to lift 30-80 lbs., stoop, lift, push and pull and remain on feet for long periods of time. Must be able to work with protective equipment used in cleaning, removal and disposal of medical waste.
Work Environment (work environments, hazards and exposures the employee may encounter on the job):
Must be able to work in all areas, interstitial spaces and grounds of the medical center and health system.
