The Leonard Davis School of Gerontology is searching for a Laboratory Coordinator to monitor and coordinate activities in a cognitive neuroscience lab investigating the effects of emotion and stress cognition. The coordinator will be responsible for research project management, coordinating undergraduate researchers, maintaining our research participant database, recruiting new research participants, running magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) sessions, organizing incoming data and assisting with preparation of manuscripts, presentations and data analyses.
The ideal candidate will have prior research experience, strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills and the ability to work independently. A bachelor’s degree in neuroscience, psychology or biology is preferred. Computer programming and data analysis experience is preferred, but not required.
Minimum Education: Associate’s degree, Combined experience/education as substitute for minimum education
Minimum Experience: 2 years, Combined education/experience as substitute for minimum experience
Minimum Field of Expertise: Laboratory operations and equipment experience. Budget and financial experience.
