Cobham is seeking a Programs Analyst I to establish and manage all non-manufacturing actions required to ship product, including Engineer Change Orders (ECO’s), waiver requests, customer actions, scheduling and expediting of customer service requests.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS and DUTIES:
1.Develop and maintain listing of all customer-approved processes and procedures; maintain and track configuration of customer documents and SCD’s, equipment specifications, statement of work, purchase order and subcontracts, etc on all open sales orders; interface directly with customers on behalf of Program Manager, as necessary.
2.Submit ECO’s to customers for review and approval as directed by subcontract; answer inquiries related to customer requests; prepare, submit and track all customer specification waivers, non-confirming material reports and deviations.
3.Review, prepare and organize all end item deliverable data packages with Program Manager and customer during CSI; complete any required tasks to effectively delivery product.
4.Support Program Manager in preparing bids and quotes by researching and compiling actual cost data (material and labor); attend Program Management Reviews, Preliminary and Critical Design Reviews (PDR’s and CDR’s), Manufacturing Readiness Reviews (MRR’s) as required.
5.Communicate Program status on deficiencies, work in progress and other routine program information.
6.Provide customer service on contracts designated by Program Management. Escalate customer issues or needs to the appropriate Program Manager for resolution
7.Assigning WBS Accounts to contract Purchase Order requirements.
8.Supporting RMA order entry processes
9.Supporting Program Management with sales forecasting and invoicing requirements.
10.Generate and Publish ad-hoc reports capturing program performance and contract schedule requirements.
11.Support new contract order entry processes as required.
12.Provide on-site support for clients with the development of PowerPoint presentations, document editing and formatting, and Excel spreadsheet development.
13.Participate in safety training and actively comply with safety policies and practices.
14.Actively support Lean initiatives by attending training where applicable, participating in Lean activities (5S, Kaizen, problem solving, error proofing), making suggestions for improvements and sustaining improvements implemented; actively participate in team meetings and activities, including SET team support as appropriate.
15.Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

1.One (one) year of relevant experience supporting Program Management or Manufacturing; Associate’s of Art degree in Business or related field, a plus;
2.Communication skills: ability to receive messages by telephone, in person, electronically and in writing; ask questions and rephrase statements to clarify meaning; ability to read technical publications; communicate across organizational levels; practical interpretation and knowledge of Program Management policies and procedures;
3.Computer skills: advance knowledge working in a networked environment using a Windows and/or Windows like interface using Power Point, Excel, Word and Outlook software programs; ability to use Enterprise Resource Programs such as SAP, a plus;
4.Math & Analytical skills: basic to intermediate mathematical skills, including geometry; review and compare data to identify inconsistencies and determine priorities; ability to collect, analyze and summarize information to a general understanding; ability to think abstractly and separate complex ideas into simple elements; ability to produce financial analysis models; working knowledge of cost accounting principles;
5.Time Management and Organizational skills: flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities and assignments; ability to maintain confidentiality; work with the vast array of information gathered during elicitation and analysis and to cope with rapidly changing information;
