Senior Program Manager
The Senior Program Manager will interface with customers, providing a single point of contact throughout the life of the contract, including monitoring the development and delivery of the product; manage the program by coordinating departmental or cross-functional teams while focusing on the delivery; monitor project from start to completion by planning and directing schedules; participate in design review meeting, cost and profitability and scheduling of product; collaborate with staff across functional areas such as engineering, development and production departments; provide management and customer status regarding financial and tactical progress on contracts. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS and DUTIES:
1. Manage complex development programs capturing all program tasks including bids and proposals, costing, negotiations, planning and scheduling, material management, customer communication, financial analysis, customer and management presentations. 2. Submit, monitor and distribute internal and external program documentation requiring configuration management and approval.3. Create and implement successful program plans which proactively address risk and provide a high degree of confidence supporting contract deliverable requirements. 4. Analyze cost and revenue performance of programs, providing revenue forecasts and ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget and profitability; prepare basis of cost estimates, provide pricing rationale and recommendations supporting quotations, proposals for follow-on contracts; monitor program schedule progress and profitability on a monthly basis; prepare monthly program financial reports for management review; manage Return Material Authorization (RMA) repair activity including cost and pricing. 5. Develop accurate presentations and reports to support internal management and customer reviews; manage and execute new development programs in accordance with budget, schedule and technical objectives; leverage relationship with existing customers to identify new business opportunities; provide cost proposals and SOW leadership to the proposal team. 6. Lead customer and internal reviews such as TIM’s, Preliminary and Critical Design Reviews, (PDR’s and CDR’s) and Manufacturing Readiness Reviews (MRR’s)7. Develop methods, procedures and work practices to systematize management practices across the program management group; produce certified cost and pricing packages compliant with FAR TINA requirements. 8. Participate in safety training and actively comply with safety policies and practices.9. Ensure 5S is adhered to and sustained within work area.10. Coordinate, schedule and facilitate as applicable Lean/Six Sigma activities for own work area as well as for other areas to enhance cross-functional problems solving; utilize Company tool champions as appropriate for more significant lean events.11. Develop, track and report visual metrics, including KPI’s for area; react to metrics by identifying and solving problems, making improvements and advancing process control.12. Develop and support teams that make suggestions, take initiative and actively implement improvements.13. Collaborate in team meeting and activities, including SET team support as appropriate. 14. Provides leadership guidance to less experienced Manager, Programs; may be involved in direct supervisory responsibilities. MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS: (The following qualifications can be acquired and demonstrated through experience, education and/or vocational training as noted or as appropriate.)1. Ten (10) years of progressively increasing responsibility in a fast-pace electronics manufacturing environment; solid leadership skills with experience in managing within Defense Aerospacedevelopment programs; proven success in managing projects from concept through production transfer including, generation of project schedule, material control/scheduling, cost accounting/budgeting and earned value analysis. Experience with R&D technology development programs a plus; Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE), preferred; with Master of Business Administration, a plus.2. Leadership skills:

Communication skills: ability to receive messages by telephone, in person, electronically and in writing; ask questions and rephrase statements to clarify meaning; ability to read, interpret and comprehend complex written technical publications; communicate across organizational levels; practical interpretation and knowledge of US trade regulations and ITAR regulations; ability to communicate with quality, integrity and respect in a way that inspires others and encourages innovation and possibilities; 5. Computer skills: advance knowledge working in a networked environment using a Windows and/or Windows like interface using Power Point, Excel, Word, Project and Outlook software programs; ability to use Enterprise Resource Programs such as SAP, a plus; 6. Math & Analytical skills: basic to intermediate mathematical skills, including geometry; review and compare data to identify inconsistencies and determine priorities; ability to collect, analyze and summarize information to a general understanding; ability to think abstractly and separate complex ideas into simple elements; ability to produce financial analysis models; working knowledge of cost accounting principles; 7. Time Management and Organizational skills: flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities and assignments; ability to maintain confidentiality; work with the vast array of information gathered during elicitation and analysis and to cope with rapidly changing information;8. Work approaches: problem solving; analytical skills to review and compare data to identify inconsistencies and determine priorities; flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities and assignments; application of judgments by recognizing unfamiliar situations and seeking guidance and identifying and acting on situations requiring immediate action; planning, organizing and managing time to handle multiple assignments concurrently.
