Responsible for coordinating pre-operative clinical and financial services. Activities include (but not limited to) working with patient and providers in coordinating pre-operative care activities to assure patient is prepared for surgical services. The incumbent will independently prioritize assignments, meet deadlines and perform special analysis and project management with only minimal direction.
- High School or GED Required. Bachelor’s Degree Preferred.
- Minimum Experience: 5 Years (7 years preferred)
- Minimum Field of Expertise: Degree in psychology, counseling, human resources/personnel management, or health care related field. At least 5 years experience in complaint management and diffusing difficult situations in a healthcare environment. Demonstrated interpersonal, communication and customer service skills. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with physicians, managers, staff, volunteers, auxiliary member, community and volunteer organizations, media and general public. Knowledge of Medical Terminology.
- A Fire and Safety card must be presented upon hire or must be obtained at our facility within the first 30 days of hire and maintained by renewing before expiration date.
