Perform inspections, checks and tests for quality control for received goods.
Interpret complex drawings, standards, procedures and test data
Document results of inspections
Support QA Inspectors
Analyze and report findings of internal rejections (NCR)
Follow procedures, work instructions and inspection instructions in the job orders and purchase orders; perform inspections of received goods using CMM, calipers, micrometers or templates; work with production/receiving/purchasing/sales when received goods are found out of tolerance; document results of inspections using first Article Report AS9102, Fralock Dimensional Report, copies of CMM report or written results in the job order; issue certificates of conformance.
Maintain inspection tools and inspection stamp in good condition.
Keeps MRB cage clean and organized; coordinates NCRs and leads weekly MRB meeting
PC literate (Excel, Power Point, Word)
Knowledge in blueprint reading and geometrical tolerances; use of calipers, micrometers and templates
Excellent communication skills both oral and written
Attention to detail and customer oriented
Familiarity with CMM inspection, root cause analysis and SPC (CPK, GR&R)
Familiarity with ISO9001:2000
Experience in aerospace, medical or automotive industry
