Certification of Radiologic Technologist (CRT)
1-2 years experience is required
The Special Procedure Tech. operates Hilcor x-ray equipment to make cine and digital images of designated portions of the body as ordered by the physician. He/She must be capable of assisting the physician in specialized studies and must be versatile in all operations. Education: High School Diploma License: Registered by the American Registry of Radiology Tech. (AART) and have valid certification or current certification of Radiology Technologist, (CRT) from the State of California, Department of Public health. Experience: Prior experience as Special Procedures Technologist, preferred. Additional: Good organizational skills, Exercises extra initiative and accepts increased responsibility. Ability to understand and speak English fluently enough to be easily understood by patients and their families.
