The Space Planning Director provides oversight and management of more than 1.5M SF of research, educational, administrative and clinical space located in more than 25 buildings owned or leased by the Keck School of Medicine of USC. Reporting to the Senior Associate Dean and Chief Operating Officer of the Keck School, and working closely with the Vice Dean for Research, the Space Planning Director oversees all space planning and management, construction projects, facilities management, design, real estate activities, and employee moves for the Keck School. Specific responsibilities include (a) advising Keck School leadership on space planning strategies; (b) planning and managing space allocation; (c) managing the Keck School’s space database; and (d) directing construction and design projects for owned and leased spaces, including developing scope of work, contributing to design, and managing budget and schedules.
