Assists in the implementation of new programs through continuing education, staff meetings, training programs and standing committees. Round and observe Ambulatory Practices/Clinics on a weekly basis. Report data back to lead project manager and Practice Managers. Produce analytical reports weekly and within desired periods established by Director. Works with Managers, Director, and applicable partners in developing, implementing, and monitoring competency. Monitoring and evaluating the impact and sustainability of improvements within a healthcare setting. Facilitates education and change management initiatives for clinics. Establishes relationships with the clinic-staff, leaders and physicians. Coaches and mentors staff and leaders based on health system integration committee's policies and procedures. Provide practical support and training for multi-disciplinary clinical teams to take forward service improvement projects and encourage new ways of working. Encourage a philosophy of teamwork across the organization that supports the contribution and opinions of all staff and promotes an environment of mutual respect and trust.
Ability to travel to multiple clinics and various locations daily.
A minimum of two years recent experience within an acute healthcare setting with a proven history of high performance
Experience in leading, facilitating and sustaining service redesign and improvement in a clinical setting using proven methodologies. (LEAN)
Experience supporting clinical colleagues through change with a sound knowledge of change management principles and theory.
Strong organizational skills with the proven ability to deliver agreed objectives within timeframes
Strong negotiation skills with a collaborative approach to ensuring engagement from all level of the organization
Proven history of ability to successfully relate and communicate with all levels of staff from different professional backgrounds.
Skill in analyzing information, problems, situations and procedures to define objectives, identify pattern and formulate conclusions
Ability to creatively integrate competing demands of an outpatient setting into a productive working environment
Ability to interact diplomatically and sympathetically with a patient population in varying degrees of health and effective communication with staff, faculty and the general public in conveying information to varying organizational levels
Interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively and diplomatically with patients, staff and physicians; give and receive information, clarify policies, and mediate if necessary with patients, physicians, and technologists
Ability to work independently and follow through on assignments with minimal direction and supervision
Knowledge and familiarity with the Electronic Health Records, (EPIC) preferred.
Ability to be flexible with working hours given adequate notice and in alignment with job demands.
Knowledge of computer software application including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Power Point)
