Description The Creative Group is looking for a talented Interface (UI) Designer for our client in LOS ANGELES. This UI Designer will design and develop interfaces, creating interface concepts, wireframes, interactive prototypes, screens, interaction, micro-animations, flows and touch-screen designs. The UI Designer leads the mobile UI design work, and this role works collaboratively within the larger Creative team. The UI Designer will set mobile UI direction and standards, mentor other UI designers, keep current with the latest trends in mobile UI, bring new code development innovations to bear on existing products, analyze existing products for mobile UI improvements, and evaluate and oversee UI vendor support as needed. This role works with closely with a mobile Sr. UX Designer and mobile Art Director so that the designs are in line with user research and Mayo Clinic standards of excellence. This position is telework eligible, and in this arrangement the UI Designer is responsible for excellent telework communication.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Interaction Design or related field.
Ability to clearly articulate complex design problems and solutions using strong communication and presentation skills. Excellent relationship management skills involving multidisciplinary teams. Organized self-starter that is highly productive, has a strong work ethic, is detail-oriented, is methodical and has a "can do" attitude. Portfolio that represents a proven record of bringing products to market and includes examples of completed user interfaces, wire frames, interface specifications, and visual designs.
Highly desirable: native mobile app experience; mobile design experience; strong focus on client service; creative, optimistic approach to problem solving; experience with health Web sites, Web applications and mobile design; health-related background.
