Assist with external and internal communications campaigns and programs. Develop story ideas, write stories and edit printed publications and other communications vehicles (i.e., Website, Newsletters, Buzz, etc.). Assist with the development and maintenance of the DGA-PPHP’s website, www.dgaplans.org, and ensure consistent messaging and branding as the DGA-PPHP’s primary communications vehicle for interaction with participants. Assist in the maintenance of the DGA-PPHP intranet, including designing the site and maintaining and organizing content. Maintain and update Plans’ standard communications and forms. Drive and further the development of the DGA-PPHP’s brand throughout all DGA-PPHP communications. Perform other duties as assigned.
Bachelor’s Degree with 1-2 years of corporate communications experience preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong analytical and organizational skills, attention to detail. Ability to prioritize workload, manage multiple priorities, work with minimal supervision, and meet deadlines. Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel with proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Dreamweaver and Adobe InDesign desirable.
