Manages the business and patient care support functions for the Toluca Lake Health Center. Responsible for administrative and back office staff management, hiring, discipline, training and evaluations on an on-going basis. Responsible for administrative and financial analysis, coordination of clinical services and communication, space and facility management, clinical outcomes, quality and safety reporting, revenue cycle management, policy development and deployment. Responsible for the implementation of University policies and procedures. Develops project plans to ensure departmental goals and effective operations are met.
Minimum of four years' experience in a supervisory/management position in an ambulatory setting is required.
Proven skill in analyzing information, data, problems, situation and procedures to define objectives, identify patterns and formulate conclusions.
Demonstrated skill in planning, preparing and analyzing complete revenue and expense budgets.
Proven ability to creatively integrate competing demands of an outpatient setting into a productive work environment.
Demonstrated skill to interact diplomatically, effectively and sympathetically with a patient population in varying degrees of health.
Proven ability to communicate effectively with, motivate, manage, educate and discipline a multidisciplinary staff.
Ability to accept and perform oral and written instruction accurately and work independently as well as a member of a team within a demanding environment.
Ability to work independently and follow through on assignments with minimal direction and supervision.
Ability to be flexible with working hours given adequate notice and ability to work weekends when required by the practice.
Current Registered Nurse or EMT certification is highly desired.
