You can use your skills as a Mammography Technologist to help patients at UCLA Health in their fight against breast cancer. In this position, you'll float between our Breast Imaging Centers and handle rotating shifts as needed.
You'll be responsible for helping to educate patients about the exam and ensuring they are comfortable and that their dignity and confidentiality is maintained. You'll help prepare supplies, practice sterile techniques, and use universal precautions at all times. You'll also be called upon to collaborate professionally with co-workers and physicians.

Coordinating breast exams with other services
Coordinating patient transfers to the observation area, if needed
Maintaining accurate and updated records
Ensuring radiology requisitions are completed properly
Maintaining accurate supply records and initiating orders when needed
Complying with health and infection control policies
Performing first-aid until other help arrives, if required
Graduate of a Radiologic Technology Training Program approved by the American Medical Association
One to two years experience in Breast Imaging preferred
Sound knowledge of Breast Imaging positioning and image acquisition
Ability to operate Selenia Digital systems, Selenia Dimensions, Lorad Multicare system, Trident Specimen system, and Phillips iU22 and EPIQ scanner
Knowledge of appropriate technique selection for mammograms and transducer selection for breast ultrasounds
Familiar with RIS and PACS operation
