Edge Communications is seeking a Regional Sales Account Manager with proven performance selling Telecommunications solutions in the hospitality industry. This role will be responsible for generating revenue and building a book of business in the high-end Hospitality market. The ideal candidate will have proven experience selling carrier services, telecom, IT products and WiFi solutions and a passion for a high growth start up type venture. We are looking for candidates with a Hospitality and Technical Sales background. The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a strong sense of initiative with minimal supervision is essential.
· Continuously generate new client leads and feed new opportunities into the sales funnel via networking, telemarketing, and cold calls.
· Build partnerships to penetrate new accounts and sign up channel partners
· Provide training and management to channel partners in order to optimize sales
· Leverage consultative sales approach to communicate value of various solution options
· Consistently close new business
· Provide ongoing service to current accounts
· Maintain expert-level knowledge of all service products
· Meet and exceed a monthly sales goal
Desired Skills & Experience
· Five years of direct telecom sales experience in the Hospitality market
· Knowledge of unified communications solutions
· Previous technical sales experience with VoIP, PBX systems, key systems, networking technologies, and telecom hardware such as routers, switches and other network gear
· Account management expertise, professional customer service skills, excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills
· Long-term sales cycle management with consultative, solutions-oriented approach
· Experience building relationships with major resellers and VARs
