TENURE-TRACK ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR IN MANAGERIAL ACCOUNTING
Babson College invites applicants for an advanced tenure-track Associate Professor position, teaching primarily in the area of managerial accounting to start in the Fall 2019 semester.

- Holds a doctoral degree from an accredited university and, preferably, is a CMA.
- Embraces Industry 4.0 innovations, design thinking and emerging technologies in accounting.
- Has ten+ years prior faculty experience, of which a minimum of four years are as Associate Professor, and preferably ten+ years of relevant high-level experience with entrepreneurial companies doing business internationally.
Teaching
- Is enthusiastic about educating Babson students to understand and use accounting to think entrepreneurially and take action globally to create economic and social value.
- Excels in action-oriented, innovative and integrative teaching to provide entrepreneurs and managers with relevant information that supports managerial decision making and performance measurement.
- Welcomes teaching undergraduate, graduate (MBA, specialized masters programs) and executive students on and off the Wellesley campus.
Scholarship
- Demonstrates a strong record of advancing knowledge, practice, and/or learning/pedagogy through the creation and dissemination of intellectual capital evidenced by high-quality research or writings, primarily in the form of journal articles, professional books and textbooks.
- Is enthusiastic about thematically-focused research streams which advance the visions of the college and the division with plans for next steps.
Curriculum
- Will contribute to the currency and relevancy of our programs by developing innovative and inclusive course content quickly by learning and adopting technological tools and techniques for impactful and meaningful courses delivered in traditional semester schedules, intensive classroom experiences and formats which combine on-line teaching with in-person classroom sessions.

About the Accounting Faculty:
The accounting faculty has fifteen full-time members, who teach financial and managerial accounting and maintain strong ties to both the academic and practitioner communities in the Greater Boston area, US-wide and internationally. Together with business law faculty, they form the Division of Accounting & Law.
