Lighting Designer

Lighting Designer (Los Angeles, CA): Assist in the delivery of artificial & daylighting design solutions. Work with clients & architects on the production of design materials, including concept design documents, design notes, report writing, AutoCAD drawings & details, & technical luminaire specifications. Provide professional lighting layouts, sections, & details using AutoCAD & similar applications to allow a clear understanding of the concept principles. Confer with technical personnel to prepare designs & operational plans. Analyze project data to determine specifications & requirements. Communicate technical information to suppliers, contractors, & regulatory agencies. Discuss designs & plans with clients. Document technical design details. Evaluate designs & specifications to ensure quality. Req's Bachelor's degr plus 3 yrs exp. The salary is $115,000 - $125,000 annually.
