The Supply Chain Tech I is responsible for providing customer support by working as a team to manage the processes of distribution, and inventory of linen, supplies, equipment, carts, and trays. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values and Mercy Service Standards.
Responsibilities and Qualifications
1. Provides excellent customer service to all internal and external customers.
2. Relays information to appropriate person to handle concerns and follows up on customer concerns to ensure excellent customer satisfaction.
3. Uses supply chain software to implement processes for inventory management. This includes receiving, issuing, credit, and etc.
4. Uses supply chain software to requisition orders and investigate discrepancies to ensure appropriate steps are followed to correct them.
5. Assists with projects for supply chain such as product conversions and cost reduction initiatives.
6. Works with departments to provide them with appropriate.
7. Assists with all other supply chain duties as required such as mail room and linens.
