Responsibilities and Qualifications
Exceeds the same requirements and perform the same duties as the Supply Tech I, but also requires more advanced skills which includes all day interaction with key supply chain software systems to fill, order, stock, distribute, and receive supplies along with assisting in the management of PAR inventories. Consistently shows the ability to work well with other co-workers. Utilizes supply chain software to fill, order, stock, distribute, and receive supply orders. Assists with the management of inventories and pars to ensure adequate levels. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, Mercy Service Standards, and Accounting of Stewardship. To achieve our goals, we need all the parts functioning at their best and this requires the specific qualifications that you'll bring with you: Education: High School degree or GED equivalent requiredExperience: 1-2 years of supply chain experience or other industry equivalent is required.Other: Basic math skills required Computer skills described in Job Responsibilities Service oriented person with background in purchasing and an aptitude in computer and warehouse procedures. Proficient with fork lift and picker equipment required. Must have excellent communication skills and be able to follow oral and written directions. Proven attention to detail, particularly numbers, required. Possess the ability to work in a team environment. The physical demands described here are the representative of the minimums that must be met by an employee to perform all essential functions of the job. Full list of physical demands/Job screen is available upon request, but includes the following minimums: Constant standing/walking; frequent pushing <40# force; occasional bending/reaching/lifting floor to waist of <60#; minimal squatting/crouching/kneeling/overhead reach/lifting <35# overhead/carrying <35#/pulling <50# force/balance/grip/pinch.Preferred Certifications: Certification in APICS, CPIM, CSCP, IAHCSMM or CRST preferred.
