Supplier Management Analyst
Maintain collaborative relationships with supplier relationship managers to ensure and promote effective communication, supplier performance, service delivery and ongoing relationships
Provide appropriate guidance and advice to supplier relationship managers and suppliers by drawing out useful information, asking appropriate questions, and analyzing inputs.
Perform and evaluate supplier risk assessments to determine specific compliance requirements and/or targeted supplier reviews
Review all new supplier due diligence information and follow up on missing, inaccurate, or inconsistent data to ensure compliance
Board new suppliers into the supplier management system and set appropriate review requirements based on the supplier risk rating and program guidelines
Determine appropriate scope and frequency for recurring supplier evaluations. Request, track, receive, and store all required documents from existing suppliers as required based on the supplier risk rating.
Seek out methods and resources for monitoring supplier performance. Establish appropriate processes for relationship managers to comply with monitoring requirements
Record notes, conversations and actions taken on supplier relationships to support compliance and risk management expectations
Archive all supplier documentation and evaluate for compliance with the Supplier Management Program. Ensure all documents comply with internal quality and retention standards.
Identify suppliers that pose elevated risk and help establish remediation plans to address operational issues or audit findings
Make recommendations to the Director and/or Manager of Supplier Management for changes and/or updates to the Supplier Management Program
Participate in department meetings to discuss organizational objectives and gather information
Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
Position Requirements:
1-3 years related work experience in office administration, contract, sourcing or procurement, or supplier management-related areas
Bachelors degree
Advanced knowledge of MS Office processing packages, including Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft PowerPoint
Knowledge of supplier management software solutions, a plus
