The Research Assistant II position is located at Nova Southeastern University’s Center for Applied Research on Substance Use and Health Disparities (ARSH) in Miami, Florida. The position will provide support on a national study of prescription drug diversion. The successful candidate will possess a Bachelor’s degree in public health, social/behavioral sciences, accounting, auditing, criminal justice, or a related field and two years directly relevant experience. A background in law enforcement and/or in-depth knowledge of Canada are of interest, but not required.
Examples of essential Job Functions include:
- Create, maintain and update project files to ensure data integrity related to the Cross-National Survey of Pharmaceutical Diversion Project.
- Perform review, entry and verification of survey data.
- Recruit law enforcement agencies to participate in for the Cross-National Survey of Pharmaceutical Diversion Project.
- Maintain relationships with participants to resolve survey discrepancies and meet strict reporting deadlines/quotas required by the funding agency.
