Executive Assistant to the President and CEO
Plains Cotton Cooperative Association (PCCA) is currently searching for an Executive Assistant to the President/CEO.
The Executive Assistant (EA) plays a vital role in helping the CEO and management team fulfill the mission of PCCA. The EA role will require an individual with good judgement, an eye for accuracy, discretion in handling confidential information, and the ability to deliver results with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities include:
• Manage the CEO’s schedule, travel arrangements and expense reporting
• Coordination of meetings including the Annual Stockholders Meeting, Board of Directors, Delegate Body and committees
• Manage scheduling and communications for the CEO and Executive Team including written correspondence, telephone and electronic communications
• Work with trade associations and other organizations to coordinate participation of Executive Team members
• Organize and maintain corporate records
• Other duties as assigned
Essential qualities:
• 3-5 years of similar experience
• 2 years college or additional experience
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Superior planning, time management and organizational skills
• Expert skills in Microsoft Office applications such as Word and PowerPoint
• The ability to maintain confidentiality
• Willingness to be accountable, accept coaching and constructive criticism
The ideal candidate will have the following:
• Desire and aptitude for learning new concepts quickly
• Proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Experience working with membership organizations
PCCA is a marketing cooperative owned by farmers in Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas and New Mexico dedicated to supplying sustainably-grown, high-quality cotton fiber around the world.
