Real Estate and Property Development Manager

Under the general direction of the Deputy Port Director, Real Estate and Port Development, administers the real estate programs of the Port in accordance with the Port’s strategic goals and objectives.  Collaborates with Port management to plan, develop, recommend, and implement strategic plans to ensure effective and profitable utilization of Port facilities and commercial and industrial land uses while promoting Port maritime services.  Negotiates and drafts least agreements; develops complex department budget; directs the operational activities of all real estate activities and the development of real estate marketing strategies to promote the Port of Stockton and attract tenants to Port facilities; performs other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:  Equivalent to a 4-year degree in a closely related field is required and six (6) years of progressively responsible commercial and industrial real estate sales and/or leasing, property management and marketing experience including two (2) years at a supervisory level. Must possess a valid CA driver’s license.  Must pass background check.  Must be able to obtain and maintain a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) card.  See job description for min. requirements on Port website.  The Port of Stockton offers an excellent benefits package.  The position is an at-will position.
