Presbyterian SeniorCare Network has a full time position available at the Oakmont campus for a Dining Services Supervisor. The Dining Services Supervisor is responsible for supervising dining services personnel and enforces departmental policies and procedures in order to provide quality food service to residents, staff and guests. Candidates for this position must have a high school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Directs Dietary Aides in preparation, service and clean-up of meal service to ensure all standards are met.
- Plans and conducts in-services, trains and orients Dietary Aides in their duties, responsibilities and the procedures used in the area to ensure employees are following all standards and requirements.
- Evaluates Dietary Aides' performances by monitoring attendance and compliance with procedure for food preparation service and clean-up.
- Conducts daily Quality Assurance surveys to guarantee delivery of meals comparable with set standards.
- Schedules dietary personnel according to Association policies and procedures to provide adequate cost effective staff coverage.
- Supervises and participates in an aggressive sanitation program to maintain the work environment at a level that meets or exceeds criteria for cleanliness set by appropriate regulatory agencies.
- Completes all forms and reports as assigned according to departmental policies and procedures.

Supervisory Responsibilities
Directly supervises employees in the Dining Services. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
