Recruiter / Home finder
DESCRIPTION:
The Recruiter/Home finder is responsible for attracting, educating and preparing individuals and couples to become trained and certified foster parents. The position requires the coordination of all aspects of recruitment. The ideal candidate will be creative, self-starting and highly motivated, and have the ability to make public presentations about the need for foster and adoptive parents.
Works to develop and execute a recruitment plan to meet quarterly recruitment targets.
Occasionally assist in the MAPP foster parent pre-certification training class.
Works flexible hours as needed including some evenings and at least one weekend day per month.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- BA degree in Human Services or related field
- Clean & valid NYS Driver License, and reliable transportation.
- Experience in Foster Care/Children’s Services preferred.
- Should have a working knowledge of the human service systems
