We are seeking team members who excel in the following areas:
SAFETY
Actively participate in all required training all practice all learned safety practices and policies.
Take initiative to clear aisles of debris, cleaning up any spills, and placing damaged product in appropriate areas.
Safely drive a pallet jack moving products from racks to pallet and labeling cases using Voice Logistics Software.
TEAM WORK
Commit to showing up on time and ready to collaborate with their team and all leaders.
Work with leaders to solve any problems or challenges encountered during shifts.
Communicate with stockers about empty or short slots to ensure product replenishments.
CUSTOMER FOCUS
Take pride in selecting perfect customer orders that align with deliver driver stops
Practice attention to detail while selecting orders from pick slots (using picklists and voice logistics software) and validates correct products are pick and are damage free
Complete paperwork to ensure accurate record keeping in alignment with safety or/or operations protocols.
WAREHOUSE SELCTOR JOB REQUIREMENTS
Shrift - 5PM or 6PM – job complete
Environment – Tolerate temperatures r aging rom 5 degrees to over 100 degrees
Physical - Frequently lift/carry up to 50 – 75 pounds plus through an 8+ hour shift
Equipment – Safely operate electric pallet jacks including performing safety checks
Performance - Meet or exceed engineered performances and remain in good standings; adhere to attendance standards
Night Warehouse Selector
Basic Purpose-The selector position is a material handling, labor intensive job which processes work orders in the warehouse by manually selecting the correct products from the racks, palletizing them. The position is responsible for delivering the merchandise to the dock secured and shrink wrapped for delivery in a safe and efficient manner. Considerable strength and endurance is required to safely and successfully perform the job. Employees in this role have productivity standards they must meet. The work takes place in normal warehouse environments as well as in cooler and freezer areas where the temperatures may be as low as -5 degrees.

Perform all pre-shift duties including warm up and safety checks on all equipment.
Selects customer orders from pick slots using pick lists of assorted items to build orders according to driver stops at customer locations. Delivers merchandise to correct dock area, stacks items on pallets according to driver stops at customer locations for next day delivery and shrink wraps palletized orders. This involves riding a pallet jack, moving products from racks to pallet, labeling the selected cases with the order labels and using Voxware Voice Logistics Software. Validates that correct product has been selected and is damage free. Notify Stocker of empty or short slots for replenishment.
Work in multi-temperature areas as assigned. Meet weekly standards for productivity and accuracy while working in a safe manner.
Performs various post-shift duties that could include: Clearing aisles of all debris, returning pallet jack to charging area, and hook up jack for battery charging. Stacks empty pallets from slots in aisle. Clean up any spills and places damaged product in recoup area. Completes any related paperwork.
This is a night shift position; Sunday through Thursday (including holidays) and possibly Friday. Finish time is when work is completed and could require overtime with or without notice.
Attend all required company meetings and adhere to all safety practices and company policies.
Must satisfactorily complete all company mandated trainings and assessments.
Qualifications-
Education/Training: High School Education or GED preferred.
Related Experience/Requirements: Minimum one year recent experience in highly physical, labor intensive occupation preferred (ex.: construction, farm worker, roofing, freight handler with FedEx, UPS or USPS, trash collection with Waste Mgmt., etc.). Minimum of six months comparable warehouse experience preferred. Minimum six months experience with warehouse material handling equipment (electric pallet jack or high low) preferred. Minimum six months experience working with manual order selection/order filling systems, (i.e. Red Prairie, Voice Directed Picking Software) preferred.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Must be able to read alpha and numeric codes from pick sheets and slots. Must be team oriented and able to get along with others.
