Application Developer
Reporting to Manager, Application Development and Process Improvement, the Application Developer provides analysis, design, development and support of web, K2, and SharePoint
applications. Background check required.

Responsibilities And Related Duties:
Business process development through K2 (a business process management platform), web application programming, and use of SharePoint/Office 365
Works with Manager, Application Development on the development of project estimates, timelines and specifications in order to complete system development and implementation in a timely and efficient manner in support of users
Works closely with university clients to develop an understanding of their business process needs and how to address them
Provides end-user training and support for K2, SharePoint, and web systems
Assist with administration of the following: SharePoint environments, K2 environments, and web servers
Assist in the implementation and ongoing integration of the ERP environment with K2 and the SharePoint Portal environment.
Assist with customization of ERP Self-Service modules, APIs, and system integrations.
Analyzes and diagnoses software problems reported by users and develop solutions and/or appropriate actions
Ensures the ongoing integrity and performance of developed and implemented systems
Provide programming support for web page development on the Whitworth internet and intranet servers (including maintenance, testing, error-checking, commenting, etc.)
Develop, implement, and maintain secure interfaces and web-based applications for two-way web interaction (forms, e-commerce, etc.)
Work closely with the digital media specialist on development of web pages that incorporate dynamic components (ASP.NET, JavaScript, etc.)
Work closely with information systems analysts to develop resources which interface with Whitworth's Ellucian ERP databases, data warehouse and SharePoint environments
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications, Skills And Abilities:
The ideal candidate will have:
o Associate’s degree in computer science, management information systems or related field, Bachelor’s degree preferred (an equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered in lieu of degree)
o Education and/or experience developing Web-based applications required
o Experience using web application/page development tools and utilities (e.g. Visual Studio)
o Experience utilizing Microsoft SQL Server, IIS, and Microsoft SharePoint
o Working knowledge of and experience in development with Microsoft Visual Studio, Objectoriented programming and C# and/or VB.NET, web technologies including HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript (including the Knockout library), JSON, and ASP.NET MVC.
o Knowledge of and experience in working with and developing APIs and workflow.
o Experience working with K2.
